Bit Defender has an awesome party going on over at Bit Moms!
They are proprietors of a very useful malware defending product.
These types of security software are so valuable because there are so many things out there trying to attack your computers!
I have never understood what hackers get out of screwing up our PCs and laptops. It is SO annoying. Maybe these vicious folks simply get satisfaction from spreading misery - these people are so small - nonetheless, we must protect our precious tech-lives with great programs like Bit Defender.
I am VERY particular about what sort of anti-malware, anti-virus I use.
This product is great for me.
There are no tiny little cartoon characters popping up incessantly. No annoying beeps, blips or "OH MY GOSH YOU'VE GOT A SCARY TERROR HAPPENING - oh GOT IT" notices.
Bit Defender does its job.
It has settings you can adjust to make it as minimal, or as vocal, as you'd like which is very important to me.
It gives quiet, unassuming notifications and is a "defender" in such a way that you feel very safe.
I don't know about you, but my laptop is my other baby, and I like keeping it well and functioning!
I am sure that if you are in the market for a product, this is for you!
Try it out!
The first 10 moms to join BITMOMS and "friend" me are in for a LOVELY treat from Bit Defender!
Guarantee you'll like it - SO see ya over on Bit MOMS ~

Notes From Chevy Missions ~ Chevy Moms Week 5 ~ May 7 - 14th :
Denise says of the 2010 Chevy Traverse ~
"As a driver, I can say I really enjoyed the following features:
Today's law and safety shows cell phones a danger while driving and it's totally understandable. The OnStar feature of having access to communication is very convenient and safe if needed.
The heated seats - Chicago weather can be warm one day and cold the next, but not to worry the all I had to do was press a button and the problem was solve! I was warm in a matter of minutes.
The look and feel of the car is very stylish and comfortable. The drive is pretty smooth, even on the bumpiest roads - very impressive."
**** Denise drove the kids to and from service hours during the week of May 7th. Thanks DENISE!

Notes From Chevy Missions ~ Chevy Moms Week of April 17th:
"Wow, where do I begin......I was in heaven for an entire week while I had the joy and privilege of driving the Chevy Traverse. The highlight of the week was probably the fact that the entire family (2 adults, 4 kids) could fit in the Traverse and room for backpacks, sports gear, groceries, etc. Didn't take the 2 cats for a drive but they would fit too, no problem! What a pleasant experience to drive in the city of Chicago when most of the time it is not. I loved the smooth ride, heated seats, side mirrors folding in with the press of a button, starting the car from afar and the automatic rear door. My 4 teenagers were obsessed with the stereo and all the channels and of course watching movies while another listens to music makes everyone happy. Since I have taken the "Oprah pledge" to not use the phone or text while driving, the hands-free telephone was probably the most useful. The mirror and beeping noise when in reverse were very helpful when backing out of our garage and parking on the streets. I needed a little more time to get used to the mirror as it seemed that I did not have as much room as the mirror showed I had. I knew that when all of my children thought this was a "cool" car, we could all come to an agreement that if we were to get a car the CHEVY TRAVERSE would win, hands down. You sold me in no time at all and if I am ever so blessed to be able to purchase a vehicle, I know without a doubt that this would be the one."
**Kelly was instrumental in carting boys and girls from The Frances Xavier Warde Schools to Polaris Charter Academy for service hours during Week 2! Thank You KELLY!
At years end, many of the 2010 graduates had served 40 hours or more thanks to Chevy Missions!!!
